Before You Arrive: The Day Before or Morning of:

Prepare your skin by doing a full body exfoliation with a salt scrub and amp it up with a pair of exfoliating gloves. We would also recommend a facial exfoliation and mask. What a perfect excuse to pamper yourself!

Before your appointment, be sure your skin is clean and completely free of lotions, moisturizers, and deodorant.

For zero tan lines, you are welcomed to tan nude. Whatever you choose to wear, just be sure the lines don't interfere with the bathing suit or outfit you may be wearing for your special event. Also, plan to wear something dark in color to tan in and preferably not made of nylon or silk, as the product may stain these materials.

Your tan will take about 10-15 minutes to fully dry. You will want to wear loose fitting clothing post tan and be mindful of bra straps or anything form-fitting that will rub and could, therefore, create an unwanted tan line.

The best thing to keep your tan looking it's loveliest is shea butter or your favorite lotion. You'll want to slather that on the day after your tan, post-shower, or tubby time!

Speaking of tubby time, you'll want to avoid using a loofah or bath scrub sponge the first few days of your tan. Use your hands to wash the necessary parts and keep the shower warm, but not hot.

Once your tan starts to fade, typically in about 7-10 days, it may also start to marbleize on your skin. The best way to clear away that old tan is with a natural sea sponge! Just use circular motions all over with your regular cleanser and the natural fibers of the sponge will have the tan off in no time!

Planning pool time, a dip in the ocean, or a long soak in the bath? Just remember: chlorine, salt, and hot water can take your tan off quickly. So be mindful about the length of time spent in these!

Post tan, your skin should not get wet with water or sweat for 8-12 hours. Not that you should skip the gym, but get that workout in ahead of time and if you do choose to skip, we'll just tan you skinny!

For skin that naturally glows from the inside, hydration is key! Get in that H20 every day for skin that glows all on its own!

*Pro Tip: Make sure to sip your beverages through a straw the day of your tan. You don't want to take a chug and end up with a tan-free ring around your mouth
